When will the opening of the Fifth Seal take place? Some say that it has already taken place, but they are mistaken. When Jesus was crucified, God the Nation of Israel one week in which He will complete his covenant with them. This still has to be fulfilled and will not be fulfilled until after the Rapture has taken place and the Dispensation of His grace has come to an end. The history of Palestine for more than 1900 years has been one of unparalleled desolation, because Israel knew not the time of their visitation. We see that Jared Kushner and President Trump recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and announced plans to move the U.S. Embassy there in 2017 on behalf of the evangelicals. Trump said the move was decided “in the best interests of the United States of America and the pursuit of peace between Israel and the Palestinians.” Most recently, Secretary of State Anthony Blinken says that the Biden Administration considers Jerusalem to be Israel’s capital. This is monumental news because until this happens the last week of 7 years could not take place. We know that the Rapture is soon to take place because the events of the last week of 7 years will not happen until after that. The latter part of the Book of Revelation specifically speaks to the last week of 7 years. It is only after the Rapture takes place that this will be made plain.
