A study in the book of Revelation.
John sees multitudes of the heavenly host looking on and professing that the Lamb is worthy and deserves all the honor that He is receiving. John sees every creature worshipping the Lamb, so many that he could ascribe a definite number. John records the worshippers praising the seven attributes of the Lamb. Contained within these seven terms are the highest and most perfect expression of glory and honor that can be offered because within them is the embodiment of total and perfect praise unto God by the most exalted of God’s creatures. In heaven, worship is the norm, and no one is worshipping the Lamb or He that sits on the throne silently. Also, as you can hear for yourselves, it is not something that is done for a little while, but the worship is pretty much done up to this point on a continual basis. The shouts of praise to God are welcome in heaven, while they might not be welcomed in the earthly churches, in heaven it is seen as something that is normal. We should feel free to shout out our praises when we come together to worship, not just when we are alone in our secret closet. We also see that there is a big difference between prayer and worship, although prayer can contain aspects of worship.
